SNORKELING & SCUBA

SURFside’s customized approach to learning and experiences is more than evident with our PADI scuba programs.  We are the only scuba outfit in TCI to offer mobile scuba services and can bring the lesson to YOU!  Why leave your private villa when you can have the adventure brought to your pool and oceanfront?  And as always, SOA caters especially to the younger kids with their SASY and Bubblemaker experience programs, as well as less experienced adults and small groups.  With over 30 years dive experience in TCI and 15 years teaching experience, SURFside is your choice for experiencing first class adventures with the pros.

Bubblemaker or SASY

For kids 5 and up, SASY (Supplies Air Snorkeling for Youth) has kids practicing scuba while breathing out of a regulator with a tank on back and monitoring air guages however participants remain safely floating on the surface.  Bubblemaker is desgined for kids 8 and up and allows the participants to descend in the confined water and get a practical scuba experience.  Hand signals, equipment, safety and physiology of diving are all covered in these experiential courses.  Both courses include instructional video, scuba skills, and fun with a PADI Dive Instructor.

PADI Discover SCUBA Diver

Our most popular scuba course, this non-certification program is designed for individuals who are not yet certified but would like to try SCUBA diving. Experience the beauty of the underwater world in this half day experiential program with our certified PADI Instructor. Course covers basic SCUBA skills in a pool setting, and then a beach or boat dive to the amazing and untouched coral reefs of TCI to a maximum depth of 40 feet. You may have the chance to see grouper, sea turtles, lobster, eagle rays, sharks and more! For ages 10+

Refresher Course

n order to help keep you safe and maximize your dive experience certified divers have not dived in more than 2 years are required to participate in our quick but thorough 1 hour long refresher course. We cover all the basics including equipment set up, skills review and safety on and under the water.

Guided Dive Trips

Private dive trips departing directly from your hotel or villa beachfront are available for certified divers. With a max group size of 6 divers to 1 instructor, our 1 and 2 tank dives run into Grace Bay and Pine Cay, or to the location of your choice.  With only a 10-15 min boat ride to the world’s best diving, you can enjoy a dive and be back early with plenty of time to enjoy the rest of your day!  Or charter the boat and let us take you on an adventure to the world’s best unknown uncharted dive sites (Sandbor Channel, West Caicos, French Cay, West Sand Spit).
